CROCHIER - Mrs. Mary Virginia Crochier, 73, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2000 after a lengthy illness. Born July 30, 1927 in Coffee County, Georgia she has been a resident of Jacksonville for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Temple Baptist Church. Mrs. Crochier is survived by her husband, Robert Crochier; 4 daughters, Margaret Posten (Paul), Barbara Nienaber (Bill), Paula Johnson and Angela Elliott (Mark); 3 sons, Johnnie Davis, Leroy Davis and Tony Lee Baez; 5 sisters, Shirley Edwards, Wilma Probeck, Madlou Sims, Mildred Collier and Doris Kimble; 2 brothers, Roy McKinnon and Odice McKinnon; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great- grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 19, 2000 in the Chapel of George H. Hewell and Son Northside Funeral Home, 4747 Main Street, with Pastor Robert Galentine officiating. Memorialization is by cremation. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM till 8:00 PM, Friday (today) at the Funeral Home.
