Casimir (Charles) Fortier was born in Quebec in 1852. He would have gone to the United States as a young man to work in the lumber camps. His death certificate states that he was a lumber sawyer by trade. He was married in Allenstown, New Hampshire on April 13, 1874, and his first child Charles was born in 1875. His wife Delianne (Dellian) Bilodeau (Billodeau), born in Ohio on 19 July 1858. She passed away May 30, 1943 in Berwick, Maine. Casimir’s death certificate states that he died in Boston on March 3, 1938 and that his parents were Modest Fortier & Constant V. Frichette.
