Although my life my life actually began at conception, I will move on to the date of my birth. I was born on April 26th 1963 to Sherrie Ann Firkowski (Kotchi) and Eric Walter Firkowski in Two Rivers Memorial Hospital in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. My Brother Ken was born almost 1 year later on April 24th 1964. My Sister Alaina was born on November 30th, 1965. My Brother Andrew was the last of the family to be born on November 8th 1967.
My first day at school in Kindergarden was at Magee Elementary School, in Two Rivers. I spent first grade at the same school. Second grade found me at East Side Elementary School in Two Rivers. I continued on through 6th grade at East Side. Later on East Side Elementary changed its name to C. C. Case Elementary. My Junior High years were in L. B. Clark Junior High. I graduated from Washington High School in 1981.
My first job at the age of 16 found me working as cleanup boy in a local bakery where I eventually worked myself into Baking. I worked at this Job until I was 20, and went into the Military.
In April of 1983 I entered the Army and went to Basic Training at Fort McClellan, Alabama, which is located near Annistan, AL. After Basic Training was complete in June of the same year, I relocated to Fort Lee Virginia for AIT(Advanced Individual Training) where I studied Parts and Supply procedures for the Army. Upon completing AIT in August, 1983, I was stationed in Wertheim, West Germany.
Upon my leaving active duty in Germany in May of 1985, I returned to WI and settled in Sturgeon Bay. I took up employment at Peterson Builders Inc. as a Marine Electrician. During the next 8 years I I would also work for Bay Shipbuilding, & Palmer Johnson's. These are all Businesses that build ships and Mega Yachts. As Shipbulding business dropped I was forced to find other employment, so I took up Baking again for about 2 years.
Baking not paying very well, I chose to search for different empoyment, which took me to Houston, TX where I lived and worked as a Marine Electronic Technician for 4 1/2 years. Not really enjoying the Houstons Hot and Humid climate, in May of 1999 I chose to pack my bags and move to New Hampshire where I am located now. I had fallen in Love with New Hampshire on my first visit here when I took vacation in Fall of 1996 and drove up here from Houston.
